Mining

The third tier of the iskan branch; its prerequisite is Exploration.

What it unlocks

It unlocks the Foundry: a location building with no base that yields production per mountain, mine and iron tile in the city's region.

When to research it

When you have cities in mountainous regions: a mountain is barren on its own, and the Foundry is the one building that turns it into production. The branch's fourth tier, Land Title, lists this node as a prerequisite.
